No notifications for one specific app.

I just recently upgraded to an S23 (from S10+), transferred everything, except apps, from my old phone. I manually downloaded the apps because I know that some issues can occur with smart switch. My problem is that im not receiving notifications for one specific app now. 

 I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, made sure that all notifications are allowed and turned on (both in phone and app), and also set it to "unregulated". Nothing is working. 

 The app is called "influenster" if that's of any significance. The app (usually) sends both an email and a notification. I've gotten multiple emails alerts from them so I know that I should be receiving notifications as well .

The problem isn't sound, Im still receiving notifications from other apps without issue. The problem is that I'm not receiving any sort of notifications from this one specific app.

You mean you're not getting any actual visual notifications, but you've checked the notification settings..?

Do you have this option on or off..?
If it's off, try looking a the app settings with it on..

I do, it only has two categories but they are both toggled ON

I'm testing something right now. I signed out and uninstalled the app on my old device. I think it's unlikely that being signed in on a different device would interfere with notifications, but Im trying it just in case.
Ironically, as soon as I powered on my old device I received all of the notifications that I missed on this device.

Does the old device have the same operating system?  It could be that the developer of the app has not yet updated and optimized the app for Android 15.

I believe my old one was android 12 but I'm not positive. Its definitely a possibility that it isn't optimized, but I have two friends that have an s23ultra and an s24+, and they both receive notifications without issue.
