My phone gets a notification every blue moon that there's an update, but whenever I go to update it, it says it's up to date. The things is, it hasn't updated since March 1, 2023... I've done just about every type of troubleshooting you can think of, even trying to load it from my laptop to my phone and it still hasn't updated. It's getting to the point where things aren't working properly... Anybody have/had the same issue and could help me figure out what to do?

Which phone do you have? Where did you buy it? Who's your carrier?

Please share a screenshot of your about phone > software information screen (see attached pic).1763016025908.jpg

The model number (S911U) indicates that it was a carrier-locked phone at one time (unknown which carrier). It looks like it has been unlocked to run on any carrier.

A couple of things to try:

Reset mobile network settings under settings > general management > reset. Reboot your phone. Check for updates.

If that doesn't work, try running Smart Switch on a computer. See "software update via Smart Switch on your Windows PC or Mac" on this page for details:

Unfortunately I've tried both... When I attempted to download the update on my computer using Smart Switch it said that it was still up to date, which it obviously isn't. My wife's phone is the s23 fe and she gets updates whenever they roll out

I believe your phone was never properly unlocked. It may have been SIM-unlocked but wasn't firmware-unlocked, and it's having trouble communicating with Mint's servers to download any updates.

I think your best option at this point is to take the phone to an authorized service center and have them flash unlocked firmware, making it a U1 (factory unlocked) device. There will be a fee for this service. See this link to find a service center near you:
