I really love using DeX. Just sit down at a dock with keyboard, mouse, and monitor connected, plug the USB-C cable into my phone and boom, I have a desktop. However, DeX lacks multi-monitor support. I could see completely replacing my home desktop with DeX, but the lack of being able to use multiple monitors is a deal breaker. The way it is right now is, I connect my phone to the dock and both monitors show the same screen. If I could utilize the second monitor for a second screen/desktop, this would make ditching my personal desktop a no brainer.
I dont know how many are actually using dex, but to just go in Office with just my phone and plug it into the hub instead of the laptop, and be able to use multiple monitor would be a game changer. Edit: Writing this from my phone thru dex, looking at just one screen as the others are black.
That's the only issue holding me back. Ive gotten used to my dual monitor set up, if I could properly run this on Dex I'd actually donate to the cause ๐
