Messenger app not working after update

Since new system update, messenger does not work.

Sometimes you gotta uninstall it and then reinstall it back in. But I have not had that type of issue.

I've done that three times. It works then it stops working again. I've cleared cache too.

Seeing as how Messenger is a Facebook owned app, try asking them.  They may just need to update their software.

S24 Ultra 5G One UI 7: this worked for me so far, uninstall Messenger, reboot in safe mode, clear your cache partition, boot up, reinstall messenger, reboot back into safe mode and clear your cache again, then boot up and set up messenger normally, then one more time reboot in safe mode and clear cache, it's a long process but so far has worked to keep messenger stable.
