Looking to download the same Samsung message app version that's on my other phone

I'm trying to download the same app version 16.1.10.54 that i have currently installed on my phone to another phone.I can't seem to find it in play store, I don't like Googles message app. Can anyone help me?

It's definitely there. I re-download 2 days ago to have it stored as I am hoping Samsung can make an effort to get it up to par like Google messeges -features. I would like to use samsung based apps for its device ya know 😉

This worked for me! I do not enjoy using Google message app at all, I just got a Samsung Galaxy s25+ and noticed that app was preloaded onto the phone as the default... Nope- I went out of my way to download the old Samsung Messages app, it synced everything over from what was loaded into the Google Message app during the phone data transfer. Everything seems to be working just fine, all my messages and contact photos ported over just fine although the pre-set backgrounds that I had in my chats are blank it'll be easy to set them up again. The app was located in the Galaxy store app, version 15.7.04.3
