Purchased s23ultra in 2023..now its 2025 and line started coming in screen..samsung never rectifies it by updates instead they force us to buy new phones but unfortunetly i will be moving towards apple this time..iam a regular samsung user and i love their device but this issue is coming on all samsung phones...atleast we should be able to use the phone for 4 years..there is no solution for this problem.
well, in samsung perspective, samsung allow us to trade in our device. if you traded in your S23U to S24U then you can bypass the line issue, including if you also traded in your S24U to S25U, and do the same thing next year.
then in user perspective, trade in our device can only be done by certain person especially rich people, but at least everyone who suffered green line issue on their device still can replace the screen (yes, you have to pay the repair cost)
there's only preventive method such as:
don't update phone during charging
put out phone casing when charging
don't let our phone get too hot for long
never drop our phone
never let our phone touch water
pray to the God that our phone will never suffer green line
Updates will not fix a screen issue, such as green lines. That is a hardware issue, and will require a screen replacement. Who can say why some phones suffer those screen issues? Overheating can and may be a factor, using the phone out in the bright sunlight and heat can be a factor. Overuse of screen time can be a factor. Leaving your phone in a car exposed to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) can be a factor.
