I have to admit that my phone camera takes pretty good pictures. But when I take pictures indoors the color is always off and I can't even edit them to look nice. Is there a camera app or an app that I can boost my camera with?

Personal opinion only: I like Open Camera, it should be in one of the app stores. I like it because of the amount of manual control I can have but it has annoyances like 8x zoom where the Android or Samsung camera has 10x and as far as I know both are optical, implying Open Camera doesn't offer the full camera range. It's often very manual and photography oriented so can be overwhelming for just taking "snapshots".
