How to turn off new home pop up

So since I installed the new UI 8.0 (s23U) every time I unlock my phone I have a full screen page pop up with "Editor Picks, News, etc". Looks similar to the Samsung Members app so guessing its Samsung thing. I DONT WANT IT! So how do I turn it off? Been scouring the internet and cant find anything.

Which UI update did you get? There should be no pop up upon unlock, unless you installed a rogue app. Did you get the now brief feature? Did you turn on the discover page on your home screen settings? Please provide a screenshot, and tell us which update you got.

Just added one. I have not installed any new apps in a while. This did not start happening until I installed the new UI 8.0 a couple of days ago.

If this was a feature of the update, EVERYONE who got the update would be screaming about it.  Whatever app you just added is likely the culprit, not the update.  Reboot into safe mode and see if you still get it.  If you do not, it's not something that was installed with the update.

Either delete the newest app and see if it goes away, or download Good Lock's Nice Catch, turn on detect toasts and detect commercials to see which app is sending it. It could be that you clicked a bad link and downloaded some malicious adware to your phone.

So it didn't happen in safe mode. But Nice Catch had no catches when I ran it in normal mode. I Uninstalled the last 4 or 5 apps I had installed and it's still happening. I'm not smart enough to figure this out apparently lol. I also ran the device care on my phone and it doesn't find anything either.

If you have a carrier device, it could be some news app they installed.  Nice Catch did not detect anything in in the toasts or commercials?  Go to settings/security and privacy, and run a scan and/or download a malware scanner and run it.  That definitely looks like some rogue adware and not something your carrier or Samsung would have added.

I have this also since the update. I hate it and want it gone. I've looked at posts regarding similar situations and tried those replies, but nothing has worked. You can find out how to expand the app/widget under Galaxy AI in settings, but it does not tell you how to disable it. ( Mine has a bubble at the bottom of the lock screen and I cannot get a screenshot on that screen. It shows "Now Brief get today's highlights ") I can long hold the bubble and get the option to either Dismiss or go to Now Brief Settings. When I choose Dismiss, the bubble goes away but comes back everytime on the lock screen. Now Brief Settings does not show how to turn it off or disable it.
