How to get calendar events to delete themselves

I may be the only person upset about this, but have you guys noticed that with the One UI 7 update once an event is over for the day, it doesn't disappear from the calendar widget anymore, I liked this feature. Does anyone know if there's a way I can get them to disappear again?

If they are on your calendar, they are on your widget. The widget is just a mini mirror of the calendar. I don't know about you, but I need to see historical entries on my calendar from time to time. Why would I want them deleted?

Maybe it was a glitch? It never deleted the event from the calendar just from the widget. It was like automatically checking off my "to-do list" for the day 😔

Hey, I really miss this feature too in oneui 7. Everyday I look at my widget what event coming next, but after update it to oneui 7, it no more hiding past events.

Do you have a workaround to make calendar widget behaving like one ui 6.1 just like before?
