How do I turn call recording off?

How do I turn call recording off? I cannot find a toggle in settings and am very disturbed by the addition in the update.

My Accidental Touch Protection is on. I tried numerous things, to no avail I went to Verizon and was told Apple has had the same issue, they have been working on the software glitch since May. Samsung is aware of the Android issue, also being a software glitch, they are also working on a fix. Verizon had no time line as to when that will happen. Thanks for your responses.

This is crazy as you shouldn't be recording people without their permission. Next the feature was just added or either it was not always on the phone screen and easily accessed. This is not a safety feature but an annoying feature to whomever you are in conversation with.

Is there some way to turn off call recording. Sometimes it happens when I have important calls. The phone starts recording out of the sudden and it is very uncomfortable... please developers move the button to another place and not have it so accessible to where the cheek or fingers touch it without wanting to do so.

Until Samsung hears people's wishes on this you can download Phone by Google as an alternative to Samsung's native app.

While I have never experienced this myself, I can see how it happens to others.

I don't hold my phone to my face ever. I hold the phone away from my face not to get makeup on my screen. I do not do the cradle thing against my face and shoulder, ev-ah. At home I always use the speaker.

At the time that happened I was using my airpods and the phone was far from me in the phone holder in the windshield of my truck it was very strange that out of nowhere I started recording maybe I would touch the button when I accepted the call by mistake thanks for your help...
