Following the UI 7 update, my S23 developed a green line. After visiting the service center and contacting Samsung support multiple times, a quality check confirmed the issue stemmed from the software update, not a hardware defect. The service center then instructed me to again contact support to request screen replacement, contingent upon Samsung approval. However, support now states the replacement will not be free, citing a lack of approval from Samsung. This is unacceptable, as the phone was purchased based on Samsung's promise of four years of software updates, and this update has caused a significant malfunction. As a loyal customer, I am extremely disappointed by Samsung's refusal to provide a free replacement and have requested escalation of this matter. Customer service said they escalated it to head office, and they'll decide what to do. I'm now waiting for their mail. If samsung doesn't solve this issue and do free replacement for samsungs mistake, I will have to move legally and sue samsung.
