Google Play Services Failed Update

I have the 256gb base S23 thru Tmobile. Its fully paid off and not running betas. 

I have not been able to update Google Play Services since the June 1 2025 update. 

This is what I get every time.

This is my phone model number...

All of my apps are up to date and the Android Security updates are still coming through but just not this one.

It's a know issue with Google Play System updates lately. It seems that they can't walk and chew gum at the same time. My guess, after the stable Android 16 gets released for Pixel Phone's next month Google will get its act together.

Try updating Google Play Services, and then retry the Play system update. You may get the July 1 update, which is current afaik.

- Go to Settings > Apps
- Search "play"
- Tap on Google Play Services
- Scroll down and tap "App details in store"
- Tap the update button if there is one
- Reboot

I've been informed that T-Mobile has delayed the August update. I would wait until the September update.
