Client bought new S23.  Used the Samsung migration app, it took all his Exchange contacts and put them in the S23 as Phone contacts.  Then he added his Exchange account and now he has two stores of the same contacts.  All the advice I've read about deleting all contacts works on my S10e, and on a Pixel with Android 13.  But does not apply to a S23 with Android 13.

How do I delete all these phone contacts?  Please don't tell me to hit the 3 dots and choose "delete".  That isn't an option on this Samsung with Android 13.

You can merge them. Instead of deleting the same contacts, or doubles of the same, there should be an option in contacts to merge them.

I did see that.  But I just don't trust processes that make over 4,700 decisions (that's how many contacts he has) I can't see.  Automated software that works without you knowing what its doing....that's how he got into the this mess to begin with.  It seems really odd that there's not a way to do this.

In his case, he shouldn't have used that Samsung Switch app that does a lot of thinking for you.  He's on an Exchange server so once you add that, all your contacts come down.

There are apps that will combine contacts based on factors you choose
