Galaxy S23One of our grandsons accidentally deleted my husband's ColorNote app. Unfortunately, it was not synced to the computer.
Does anyone know of a way to recover the app with its years of notes?
Thanks.

Have you tried restoring the phone's backup? One on the nice things about ColorNote is that if you set it to backup, it backs up to Google so the notes will be accessible from any device with the app, as long as one logs in with the same gmail address. So even if one uninstalls the app and reinstalls it and logs into the app with the same account, the notes will just be there. I can't imagine anyone having this app for years and *not* linking it with gmail. The notes would also be contained on the device, so it should be in his Samsung backup, provided you discovered the loss prior to the next backup. If not linked to gmail, or a backup was made after the deletion, he would be out of luck.

Reinstall it and hopefully it created an auto backup to restore or if you ever manually backed up your phone you can find the app files and manually drag them into the reinstalled app through a computer and it will restore up to that point.
