Charging issues S23

Is anyone else having problems with charging there Galaxy S23?

I was, about 3 updates ago my phone didn't want to charge like it was and battery went really fast, but not experiencing the issue anymore...

Most of my typical charges I've been using for years now have just stopped charging. I first had the issue when I charged my phone (said charged) I realize after some time, that my phone had been oddly quiet lol, so I go to turn the screen on and nothing but a black screen, wouldn't turn on, until I found a cable that worked after holding the power button down for longer than usual, just to turn it on. Idk but its weird. So far since I've been using the 2 cables that work. It seems to be doing OK. Other than the auto updates that I have turned off!

Chargers and cables can be hit or miss, especially cheaper ones. For third-party chargers, I only use Anker but Ugreen is also reputable. For cables, I use Anker and JSAUX. Never had a problem with either brand. Make sure you verify the charging speed on everything. Also check data transfer capability if you need that.

You may want to run diagnostics in Device Care to see if there's a potential hardware issue that needs to be addressed.

Thanks. Ya, I've done all Diagnostics and it all checks out. And I don't use "cheap" chargers, cables etc. I haven't had the issue again, so not sure if the update fixed it or just a one time glitch. Thanks for all the responses. I am very glad to have started using Members and for other's to actually be using it and responding to others with any insight. Thanks again!

You might want to check your cable. Some just don't work, some will charge, some will fast charge, and some will super fast charge.
Charger blocks will also make a difference. I got one from Walmart (of all places) that our performs any other one I've had. It's labeled as 30watts and it blows the other mail order ones away.

Ya, thanks for the tip. But I've got so many different charging cables and blocks. Most are from Samsung but other's aren't. Honestly the best one I have is a non-samsung cable that charges the best in my truck. Go figure right 🤦🏼 and my cable that goes to my JBL Flip Bluetooth speaker that is the only other one that's working
