First, I'm super excited about the new features. Google did an excellent job hyping this update up the last couple months. The only issue I'm having is my phone is having trouble connecting to my car Bluetooth. I keep having to disconnect and reconnect.. a few times. Anyone know how to remedy this?
I had this happen yesterday. I kept getting a message about Android Auto required notifications to be turned on. They were. I couldn't get past that notification band was only getting a Bluetooth connection for audio and calls. Not Android Auto connection. I went through settings and did a few standard reset tasks that sometimes will trigger a change in behavior on Android phones but nothing helped with the connection. I did notice the error message was different after doing the on/off in settings for different options. Now it indicated an issue with recognizing my vehicle and the suggestion to look at connected devices>android auto>vehicles>rejected vehicles. I found my car in the list after that I used the settings in my car to forget my phone and on my phone I now have no car that is recognized in Android Auto once I got to that point I was able to reconnect with no issues and everything worked fine. I didn't even have to redo settings or anything else. Android Auto and my car even had the correct names I used for both when I originally set the connection up. I thought that was weird because I have had to redo all of the settings and name the devices in the past with similar issues.
Android auto is completely garbage I was reading an article on Google were there even suggesting at this time just go back to using your standards cars Bluetooth connection and she really need to use the screen of your infotainment system for things like maps and whatnot because right now they're having too many issues with it along with it skipping people songs connection issues and many other issues
In case you didn't know despite its age Android auto is still in its beta that's how terrible Android auto really is it's been out for how long now and yet it's still technically a beta program.
And with every rendition it just gets worse and worse and worse it's why you can read up right now a car manufacturers are looking to get rid of it and just go back to using their own and some car companies are just getting rid of info tournament systems completely because of Google and they're shenanigans kind of the same reason how most Smartwatch companies don't exist anymore they just can't stand Google and it's operating systems and how they don't work most of the time these complaints should not be given to Samsung but should be given to Google's CEO a man named Sundar who has ruined and sent more things from Google to the Google graveyard then real murders have sent victims to their graves.
It's a Sundar Problem. You know that guy that Google hired during the much higher people by racing not by Merit thing before it was cool and not even 2 years later decided to make him the CEO for just no apparent reason yeah that guy it's his fault not Samsungs and if you go on Google and look up right now what he's planning on doing to Google in the future it's no wonder why places like Samsung and Amazon have decided to rip Google from their operating systems and come up with their own as tizen is still used in their watches and Amazon now has their own OS and has completely ditched Google other companies are doing it as well Google is becoming trash bro well more trash than it already was it's now a trash dumpster on fire
I can't connect my hearing aides. They were paired to my previous Samsung A15 which got hacked last week so had to buy new phone. There is no Bluetooth reset device on my hearing aides so I just can't hear my phone now. What is the work-around???
Definitely try erasing your car and phone from the Bluetooth menus, and pair like you're pairing a new phone for the first time. I had to do that with my Galaxy Watch 6.
So, apparently this issue was brought up in Beta testing and Samsung NEVER addressed it. This is such BS! Especially since they're telling me the only way to fix it is to reset ALL my wifi and Bluetooth settings which would **bleep** up everything else.. ugh
