Galaxy S22Hi, I’m posting this to highlight a serious issue I faced after updating my Galaxy S22 to the November security patch.
Right after the update, my phone started showing severe problems:
Lag and UI freezing
Home screen/One UI crashing
Random restarts
Overall unstable performance
I tried everything — cache wipe, safe mode, and even a full factory reset — but nothing fixed it.
Finally, I visited the Samsung Authorized Service Centre, and they diagnosed the device with a motherboard failure and recommended a motherboard replacement.
This is extremely disappointing, especially because I’ve already gone through a screen replacement earlier due to the green line issue, also triggered after a software update. As a customer, facing repeated hardware failures caused by official updates is very frustrating.
I’m sharing this so the team can look into it seriously.
I request Samsung to address this issue and provide a fair resolution, as these problems clearly started after the recent update.
Please guide me on the next steps.

Galaxy S22Thank you for posting this. I'm experiencing the exact same issue, and I haven't been able to find any solid explanations online. I even contacted a local Samsung store for guidance, but they simply suggested it was caused by a bad update that corrupted some files. That explanation seems unlikely to me, anyways, I’ve factory-reset my phone about ten times and the behavior is always identical — which points much more to a defective motherboard. I share your frustration: how are customers expected to be held responsible for a hardware failure triggered by a system update? I’m extremely disappointed with Samsung.

Galaxy S22I just replaced my phone too.
Apps not loading, biometrics not working correctly, now I even need to send off my Galaxy Watch 7 for diagnostic testing/ repair.
Not sure I want to even upgrade to a newer model let alone stay on my current carrier, Spectrum.
