Pictures disappearing

On the new one ui 8 for my s22. Pictures just been disappearing. I haven't installed any apps, i haven't plugged my phone into anything except a charger, and I haven't done anything to it. I have checked every album and nothing. I had PERFECT pictures of my cats and their just gone now. Again I DID NOT DO ANYTHING!!!

Have you done any reset or soft reset to your phone.

I reset my phone (not factory reset) and still nothing
