Now brief is just the face widgets with ai as far as I can tell. But with this new update Samsung got rid of face widgets completely and gave now brief only to the 25 series. Are they going to be trickling it down to the 22 series at least? Or are the rest of us out of luck? I found the widgets really useful day to day so I'm wondering what exactly is AI doing that the widgets could not?
How hard is it to comprehend that the newest phones come with the newest features? Eventually some of the features built for the S25 may trickle down to lower models, but don't hold your breath. There would be no reason for anyone to buy a new model with no new or exclusive features. There would be no reason for Samsung to develop new and exclusive features if they were just going to continually update older models. There are also some features that older models may not be capable of hardware-wise. If any lower model were to get it, it would likely be the S24, as that's the model that would come closest in hardware specs. It's very unlikely that models below the S25 will see any of that.
