When I opened my Notes app this morning, a few of my folders were missing. I did not manually delete then (on purpose or accidentally). There is nothing in the trash folder.

I had been working in one of the folders the night before with no issues, now this morning it is gone along with a couple more.

Any ideas what could have happened?
Also I do have my Notes app settings to "sync" to the cloud.

Please help, I need those Notes!

Try running a Google backup under settings and go back to Notes to see if that worked!

Thank you, I'll give that a try. I'm still clueless as to what could have happened. But let me try your suggestion

I'm thinking you generated the note and it didn't back up therefore it didn't save! Make sure under your notes settings you have synced turned on and that it syncs on wifi and data. 1738180571415.jpg

Just to be clear, if you think a good copy resides on Google cloud, you would want to do a Google restore. A backup would copy data from your device to the cloud.

thank you. just as an fyi, I had the sync to cloud settings enabled prior to this happening. I went into settings, selected cloud account then restore, then apps. There are no Samsung options listed. Is there another place to see all Samsung options?

Sorry I misread your post a little bit. Samsung Notes is backed up to Samsung cloud.
