I just lost about 50 extremely important tabs I had open for school research. It all happened because I searched something up in Google, and I shared it to Samsung internet. SI said I had too many tabs open so it closed everything but my grouped tabs!!! I cannot use the history function, because many of these tabs were opened long ago so I can't remember them all.
Please help !!!!

Usually if you just type a letter at the url, at least for Chrome it will populate the recent words. But since Samsung provides secure browsing, maybe that option will not work. Maybe Google history can provide what you shared. Did you share it within a certain Google app or?

I searched something in Google (just the regular Google app), then used the share button to open the tab in SI. That page then triggered the closing of all my SI tabs

That may be why you had an issue because if you share it may have tried to open Chrome? Although, it seems like it's an issue with the Samsung browser. Catch 22. Sorry about the browser history issue. Could be a bug but no idea.

I think not. Reading the reviews on the Google app store, it says users are upset about the crashes of the browser. Maybe a developer will take notice and solve the issue. I don't think you can restore your tabs.

Do you use VPN or have unstable connection? Doubtful but that could be why the tabs disappeared. However, everyone is complaining about the app, read the reviews it's the same story as yours. Sorry.
