Tracking Foreign/Unknown Trackers.

So I was today years old when I found out my phone (S21 Ultra) can track trackers that have been tracking me, connect to them and even make them play sound so I can find them. 😐

Context: I'm a Auto Technician, so I'm regularly test driving customer's cars. It's rather common that I see airtags on people's keys, but I've never been notified of it. 

Q: Is this new?

First time seeing something like this. 🤨

AirTag tracking was added to Android in July 2023 as part of a collaboration between Google and Apple. Not sure when the feature was incorporated into One UI.

Unknown tracker alerts is a Google service. It came wirh Android 14. You can turn them off or on in the Google settings of your phone.
