I wanted to share an incredible story about my Galaxy S21.
In the spring of 2024, I lost my phone at about 9,500 feet on Mt. Baker, Washington, while traveling across one of its glaciers. The phone already had a cracked screen and wasn’t in a protective case. I assumed it was gone forever.
Fast forward more than a year later: a climber found my phone on top of the glacier. It had spent an entire winter buried under nearly 30 feet of snow and ice. Despite the extreme conditions, once he plugged it in, the phone powered right back on — and still works today.
I thought you might enjoy this testament to the resilience of Samsung devices. It’s an amazing example of durability that I never expected.
