How can I add a device to find a phone?

Are you referring to the findmy feature? If so you have to login to the samsung account that the device is under and locate it that way ...to my knowledge you can't just trace phones

Ok, so id have to login on my wifes phone in order to per say find my device and vise versa?

You can use any device that connects to the internet. Open findmy and login. If you want to be able to track each other through find my then just login on each other's devices with your samsung credentials make sure the other person knows it since it does log you out sometimes automatically

Where do I find the "findmy" you are referring to?   Is it on a cellphone, tablet, website, some place else?

The solution is to have the device owner use the Samsung Find app to expressly share the specific device(s) with members of the family. From the app, she would select the device, tap More and then add you to share the location of the device.
