Hoping that Samsung would at least do quarterly security patches for the S10 Plus. A lot of people still have them and it's still a great phone today. This phone cost over $1000 when it first came out.

Software support for the S10 series has reached end-of-life. 6 years is a substantial lifespan for a phone! If yours is still operational, that speaks to the quality of the product.

Unfortunately, no company can offer indefinite support for every product they have ever made. If you want the latest and greatest software/ security features, you will need to purchase a current gen device.

With all due respect, when you purchased your device you went in with eyes wide open. You understood that it would be 3 OS updates and 4 yrs of security patches.

Samsung has fulfilled their end of the bargain. As long as it still works and you are OK with no more security patches there is no reason to upgrade. Just use it until it no longer works. If security patches are important to you then I suggest an upgrade.

You guys act like good tech is a parishable item like fruits and vegtables or something.
The Tech on the S10 Plus in comparable to what's on offer today. I could see if the device had become obsolete but nothing could be further from the truth. Am I right?
