Galaxy S Phones1st Try restarting your phone
2nd Try completely turning phone off, wait 15 seconds then turn on
3rd Try turn on Airplane mode, wait 15 seconds then turn on
4th Try a Network reset:
From settings > General M
anagement > Reset > Reset Network. FYI IF YOU CHOOSE THIS WAY, YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICES ON THE PHONE, AND AFTERWARDS YOU WILL NEED TO REINSTALL THEM
5TH Contact your service provider and ask them to refresh your phone from their end. And if still nothing, then ask for a new sim card
