The update ruined the now bar

This new now bar sucks. It use to be that my music or podcast apps would be centered and large enough to use it from the lock screen. Now it's a tiny bar at the bottom with tiny buttons that are now harder to push. The writing is tiny and harder to read. This update just keeps getting worse the more I use my phone. Samsung better fix this disaster. Who ever approved this revamp needs to lose there job cause there's no way people said they liked these changes.

Samsung legit changed, and ruined everything I liked about "android" system on their devices when they forced me to "upgrade" to UI 7.0 after multiple attempts at staying where I was at 6.1. They ruined my experience to make it look, and operate like a **bleep** as iPhone! I have a **bleep**ty, cracked work iPhone 12 pro max, and side by side it looks way too **bleep** similar. They just rounded everything, and made even more Ai **bleep** take over. Thank Gob I returned my s25u. Doesn't matter. Because, even after changing every **bleep** setting back to where I had it. Everytime I have to swipe twice to get out of that stupid "now bar" **bleep**, I come on these Samsung Posts to rant! 🤣 🤦 ☠️ I'm done with Samsung. I **bleep** LOVE powering my ole' reliable cracked note 9 on. 🥹🥹👌👌🙏🙏👍👍😍😘 It's ui is so much easier, simpler, and quicker. I hate Ui 7.0 LOLZ. EAGERLY AWAITING 7.1 SO HOPEFULLY SAMSUNG LEARNS FROM THEIR STUPIDITY. xD That's probably when they'll announce an over-priced BS S-pen with BT again somehow. 😔🤦🤷🤦☠️ Then remove all the good features in the watch 8 as they did in 7. 🤯😪☠️😇👍🙏 Cheers m8! 😂

The Now Bar needs some serious customization work. There are basically no options on how to customize it or how it works, let alone decide not to use it at all. If I was able to customize the Now Bar on the lock screen, this feature could actually be cool if kept alongside an option for the regular notifications. Even having both would be better than this.

I hate its obtrusive look and might quit Samsung after 12 years. All part of the overly anxious ai attitude offending my as a power user. It's UGLY and unnecessary.  Add this to the other annoying things I'm trying to ignore and I'm ready to ignore you Samsung and your clever marketing. At least let it be made invisible.

I was already leaning toward being done with them - scrapping the Galaxy S Active series in favor of the Xcover that is not at all an equivalent replacement for a rugged phone had me looking to alternatives - but I actually liked a lot of their distro. The last two 'updates' (worthless regressions in reality, I'd rather still be on my S8 Active and WOULD BE if Sprint's network hadn't been shut down) have made the interface noticeably worse in ways that still bother me years later. Unfortunately, Asus seems to have discontinued the Zenfone line, which was looking like my niche's best replacement.

This update must be for people with really small hands? My thumb naturally rests nowhere near the bottom of my phone, and now I have to click through the now bar to get to the old media controls, I'm not sure how this is a win for me.

My anger is that if I turn off the now bar for music (because I don't like that music player or YouTube on the top notification bar while playing), and when I try to clear all the notifications, the music will also stop playing!!! Even if I set the music player to always on. 😓

Yeah this update **bleep**ing sucks. I hate the now bar, what a stupid **bleep** feature. **bleep** Samsung, if this isn't fixed soon I will never be buying one again

I have to agree with all this, updated to UI7 last night and overall its ok, some nice changes but the Now Bar is terrible! What were Samsung thinking?! Yes, I can click on it when my music is playing and it expands, so that's good but once the screen closes, Now Bar reverts back to its tiny size! Samsung, please resolve this ridiculous issue ASAP!

It's the worst... The most painful thing with the new update. 

It's in the most terrible position for a big phone. It is tiny for viewing and  functionality.

Plus... it also stacks notifications which makes it less user friendly because you have to swipe away till you see what you wanna see.  Plus all other notifications come in at the top of the screen and now these are at the bottom of the screen! How is that intuitive 

The" expanded" Now Bar covers up everything and is an extra step.

Things were so simple when you could make notifications permanent in the middle of the screen.
