You either have the now bar on the status bar, lock screen and notifications panel OR don't have any at all. The media can't be controlled on the notif. panel if the entire now bar features are not on; they take too much space on the status bar and are smaller than the media app notification on the lock screen.
There should be at least the option of choosing one or the other, it's terrible now 😭
Why pout into a void, when you can send the proper feedback? It likely won't change anything, but will get your complaint/idea registered.

I whole heartly agree. I have chosen just the dots on my status bar, because I like a clean status bar, live notifications in the status bar has overwritten what I want to see there. I would like the ability to just have it in notification shade and lockscreen only.
In Ui8 Beta I repeatedly asked for the ability to turn it off just in the Status bar. If there is a Beta for Ui8.5 I will ask again. They can even offload it to the QuickStar module. Some things that Google has mandated Samsung has let the team at Good Lock Labs come up with a solution if it is requested often enough.
