Hi guys, auto-focus feature on my Galaxy S10+ is not working properly. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it does not want to auto focus and looks blurry. I have to manually focus it, but still it is not the 100%/. I've been experiencing it for about two weeks now. I already wiped the camera cache and reset the camera settings, but to no avail.

Is this due to some new update? Can anybody please help?

Hey there,

Do these symptoms still occur when you test your device in safe mode?

Let's try putting the device in Safe mode to determine if there are external factors that cause this symptom. This step will temporarily disable all your third-party apps, but none of your personal data will be deleted. Your customization settings (Wallpaper, Themes, et cetera) will be reset to default once you exit this mode.

Please follow the steps below:

1. Turn the device off.

2. Press and hold the Power key past the model name screen.

3. When "SAMSUNG" appears on the screen, release the Power key.

4. Immediately after releasing the Power key, press and hold the Volume down key.

5. Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.

6. Safe mode will display in the bottom left corner of the screen.

7. Release the Volume down key when you see Safe Mode.

8. To exit Safe Mode, restart your device.

Let us know how your device responds after performing this step!

Thanks for the reply JoJo. I'll try the safe mode and let you know the results.

Update: So I did boot my S10+ into safe mode, and the rear camera just worked fine. Auto-focus worked just fine. I figured out that some third-party camera app "HD Camera" was interfering with the camera settings. I just uninstalled the app, and now everything is back to normal. I'm accepting your answer as a solution. Thank you so much for your help.

SOLUTION TO SIGNAL PROBLEM (I have T-mobile 4g LTE): dial *#2263# and select CLEAR ALL BANDS .. then go to LTE Band Preference and [NEXT PAGE] then select LTE B71 .. go back and APPLY BAND CONFIGURATION ... that is what personally worked for me and took me forever to figure out .. if that doesn't work for you then clear all bands and only select 1 band at a time and literally go thru all of them to see which has the best signal .. if you want to go back to original settings then just select all bands and apply configuration .. good luck to you all ā¤ļø
