Please don't kill the S-Pen

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but there have been a number of tech-news articles swirling around rumors that Samsung won't include the necessary digitizer for the S-Pen in future Ultra models. Seeing that it's already killed off with the Fold series, this seems to lend credibility that Samsung may be considering this. Please don't do it! I have a S21 Ultra, and originally planned to upgrade to the Z fold 7, until I saw that there's no S-Pen support. I'm planning to hold out until the S26 Ultra, it would be very disappoint if S-Pen support is dropped from that model as well - I feel like the S-Pen is a major differentiator from competitor phones, and enhances my productivity!

I'm happy with the way the S-Pen works with my S21 Ultra, if it needs to be carried externally in the case to make room for a battery, that's fine!

That may be true but I don't follow every model release. I was considering a S25Ultra ultra and disappointed they removed the S Pen Bluetooth features in the 25.

They only removed Bluetooth functions from the S-Pen.  It has been explained why.  All other Bluetooth functions will work.  No manufacturer is ever going to remove Bluetooth connectivity from their devices (unless some new technology comes along, and that does not look like it will happen any time soon).

I agree. If they remove the s-pen from the ultra, they at least have to bring back the galaxy note series!

I have been looking for an S Pen for my S21 Ultra forever and I can't seem to find one anywhere. Where did you find yours? And is it for an S21 Ultra or another model? I was told that they didn't make them for the S21 Ultras, of course I know that it did not come with one but I was told that I would have to get an S Pen from another model or order one for another model in order to have one for my S21 Ultra. I would love to be able to use an S Pen again. Please let me know! thank you

I purchased my S-Pen for my S21 Ultra back when I bought the phone. It is a larger, external pen, and I bought a case that holds it. Looks like they have a bunch on Amazon for about $10

I will switch to Google Pixel if removed. Please bring the Bluetooth back!!!! Keep it different from everyone else!! Or possibly go back to iphone 🤮🤮🤮

👋👋👋  You like the S-Pen.  You want the S-Pen to remain with Bluetooth functions.  That's not going to happen.  But, switching to a phone without an S-Pen or with the same, no Bluetooth function in a stylus from a phone with other features you presumably like - like customization, sounds a bit like cutting off your nose to spite your face.  Hope you get a good deal on Black Friday.
