Hello Omoze, Thank for being part of the Community.

The answer is no. There are no new S series phones with Micro Sd storage. There are no plans to add Micro Sd storage to any S series or Z series phones.

There are A model phones with the storage option, but not all A models have the feature.

I too am an avid SD card user in all previous Samsung phones. Bad news all - Sim cards are also disappearing. Apple went to eSIM only and I've heard Samsung is also considering it. The SD card is more about MONEY! It's more profit to get a person to buy an unlocked 1TB phone than to sell the 128 or 256GB phone and provide another company to occupy a memory space. I had a 1TB card in my Note 20 that cost me $40 VS. $400 upgrade.
Then recently I hear SIM will go to eSIM (quoting security). Now, switching phones will become more complicated.

It's been gone since the S21 series, it's not coming back.

Get over it already! Lol

You maybe don't realize that some of us live in very rural areas that don't get good service. If I want to access pictures, video, music on my phone when I don't have good signal, that's why some of us LOVE SD CARD Storage.....

I don't know what good service has to pertain to the post. Unless you are referring to be able to view from cloud storage, then that would be a problem.

Nothing is stopping you from having an extremely drive that you can view your photos from.

Bad service is exactly why I prefer an SD card to access anything when I can't access a cloud server! I have an external drive for my PC that i use to backup the phone, but who wants to carry one of those everywhere. My current S20Ultra is running a 1.5TB card and I'm very happy with that, but at some point, the S20 Ultra will need replacement. I've had numerous issues with the camera and focusing issues already with it.

It just seems like you didn't understand why other people would want SD still on their phones

I understand fully why they want it, it's just not going to happen.
When I want to view old photos, its not my phone I want to view them on. I take my external drive and put it in my TV'S USB port. I also transfer all my photos from my phone to my tablet, that still has an SD card.

Sounds like one way to do it. I do not have nor really want a tablet. The idea is to view or listen on the phone without having to use other devices.

Although Samsung may feel it's not worth providing, I fully disagree and feel that they should remain an option on their top-level "Ultra" model. There are people who want all the options and will pay for them, so why not continue to offer it in one premium model?

We don't live in the era of 64gb or 128gb phones anymore. If max storage is a thing for you you will just have to pony up for the 1 TB option. It's a business decision that all OEMS have move to. The only exception being Sony and their Experia phones. They still have an SD card slot. Due to the fact Sony Phones are camera centric devices. If it that important to you, might I suggest exploring it as an option.

I have never felt the need to view 10 year old photos on a small screen.
