Does anyone else with a Galaxy S20 FE 5G or similar Snapdragon 865 device have intermittent wifi connection drops when connected to a Wi-Fi 6 connection? Other Wi-Fi 6 devices like my current S23+, laptop, or Tab S7 FE remain connected, but my old phone, the S20 FE, suffered from intermittent disconnects, which causes frustrations while gaming on a wifi network like the one at my home.

You may need to reset your network settings. I think that is done by carrier.

Tried that, will see if disconnects will occur, since it is based on how stable the connection to the router (Spectrum Wi-Fi 6) is

Still occurs, as device still changes networks due to Smart Network switch with screen on and connection sometimes unstable

Hello, thanks for reaching out about this. I can see how annoying it is to lose connection only on a single phone to your Wi-Fi 6. Seeing as other devices do not have this intermittence, we can narrow it down to the S20 FE itself. Sometimes Wi-Fi problems are caused by simple network issues. Other times, you may need to take additional steps on your phone or tablet to ensure your Wi-Fi connection is stable, such as re-adding the connection or assigning a static IP address: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001559/

If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician.

You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.
