You can do a diagnostic on the phone battery to determine if it's still good. Go to device care/diagnostics

I have an s20 ultra but for these generations they're basically the same. Very easy if you have a tutorial but the battery glue is VERY strong

You'll need some instructions, tools, parts, and supplies to change out the battery. I'd weigh out the costs of diy vs having a shop do it.

Even if it's saying the battery is weak, if you don't mind charging it more often, you should still be fine. Only thing to watch for is if the battery is physically bulging then it should immediately be replaced.
