How can I get at least Android OS 11 for my Galaxy S9+ Phone? I have apps that I can no longer use unless the OS is at least 11.

Sorry, if your phone is no longer eligible for updates, you will not be able to load a higher version of Android on it, and if you try, it may very well brick your phone. Your only option would be to upgrade your phone if those apps are important to you.  You can look for a used S10, but you might be better off looking for a low end A series, both pricewise and update-wise.

Thank you for your quick reply. This has been a great phone, love it ! Hate to be forced to upgrade to another. Can you recommend a comparable model, which I know will be spendy?

Any of the newer phones will be fast. If you prefer to stay in the the S series, you can look for a used S10, any version. The last update for that was Android 14, so it will still be usable for a few more years. Otherwise, any A series new or used from the last 2 years would serve you well

@bglokner  Sorry but Android 10 - One UI 2.5 was the last major update for your devices

Thank you for the reply. Can you recommend a comparable phone? I bought my phone unlocked from Samsung with extra memory that I could get through the service provider and have not been keeping up with the newer models....

@bglokner  If money is a option I would go with the S25Fe is only 549.99 or the S25 Plus for 749.99 or the S25 Edge for only 899.99 but if price isn't a option Id go with the S25 Ultra.  All 4 of theses would be great upgrades from your S9+ you will be amazed with all of the improvements.

Thank you for the recommendations. I am considering the S25 Ultra, unlocked with 512 GB storage. Thoughts?

The 128GB S25 FE is on sale at Amazon right now for $485 (256GB is $545). Sale ends today.
