In my Samsung galaxy S20 FE 5G device, The last update is in 2022. I didn't get further updates (both security and android updates) in my device, so that my device doesn't get 5G connectivity please help me s soon as possible this problem
Note : my phone is brought from abroad

Galaxy S PhonesHaving a foreign phone would likely make it difficult to get an update from a U.S. carrier. Where was the phone purchased, what region is it locked to? You didn't notice that for 3 years your phone wasn't updating? If you have an available computer, you might try connecting your phone and downloading Smart Switch for computer and trying to see if you can get an update from Samsung's servers. The S20FE is currently only eligible for quarterly security updates ending in a few months. The last OS update would have been in 2024. Support for the device (FE) itself has been extended until April 13, 2027. End of life for the other S20 series phones was in April of this year. You may or may not be able to get the retroactive missing OS updates, but Android 13 or 14 (if you can obtain it) would be as high as it goes. You may have to consider replacing your phone with a newer U.S. model. I hear the S25FE is affordable and quite nice.

Galaxy S PhonesSince your S20 FE 5G was bought abroad, updates depend on the phone’s region carrier firmware. If it’s stuck on old software, you won’t get 5G or security patches. You can check Smart Switch on PC for updates or manually install the correct firmware for your region using Samsung’s official tools.
