My ring made it two days after the warranty ended then the battery is toast. Samsung tells me to send it in because the warranty is still good then I get a text saying they need over 100 dollars to repair the ring because the warranty is expired? But you told to me to mail it in because the warranty is good? The ring was nice but not worth the money considering it wont last and Samsung is playing games over the warranty. If you break down the costs associated with the ring it's a little over thirty dollars a month and it will not last at all. I don't normally right reviews but this is a joke to be told it's covered then it's not covered. I run a business also and understand you can't just give away your products, but I also understand when you say it's covered you would stand behind your word. Not Samsung...... Save your money and buy the other ring if you want one.
In the same boat here. My ring is about 3 months out of warranty and the battery heads been pretty terrible over the latest 3 months. Such a coincidence that battery issues started as it excited warranty coverage. I'm also not one to write review but felt like I need to as I've charged my ring to full everyday for the past three days. And I do have there galaxy watch and learned that not wearing the watch the cause the ring battery to drain more quickly as it uses more sensors. But not even lasting a day without the watch is unacceptable.
Me too, my warranty finished in September and my ring started having low to close to nothing battery life. I opened a support ticket and they wanted me to pay 100$ for the repair. It's not worth it.
