I got the new flip due to its smaller form factor , coming from a s24u. I really wish I could've found a good reason to keep it because I loved the flip factor, I can run with it and go hiking without feeling a big bulk bouncing around in my pocket. My main complaints were the short battery life and longer time to charge, camera quality, and phone temperature during regular use/charging (it gets really warm on the outter screen). Maybe sometime in the future Samsung will bring the Z series closer to the ultra given their higher pricing.
4300mah is substantially smaller than 5000mah. Can't expect battery life to be equivalent to an Ultra. No other phone in the lineup can compete with the Ultra features, including cameras. That's why it's an Ultra.
I, too, am waiting for the Flip of my dreams to become a reality. Flip is my absolute favorite form factor of any phone I have ever owned.
There are fewer and fewer compromises every year. I am hopeful for the Z Flip 8, but I wouldn't expect such a compact phone to ever get true Ultra Specs.
