Messages Font Huge

For some reason recently my messages app the one used for texting. When I select a message regardless of which one, the font size is HUGE & I don't have a clue why. All my Display settings look right I guess nothing sticks out but lately last month or so the font to type messages in is like a 18 font size & I need it to be like atta 12 tops hete. I feel like a total  but I don't get it cuz it don't match anything else. I did recently buy & apply a new galaxy theme. Could that do this ?

@420bunny In the text messaging app, you can use the standard pinch to zoom to make the text larger or smaller. Have you tried that?

Open the app go to a message and pinch with your 2 fingers to zoom in and out like you would on other app or internet
