I use my hotspot as connection for a smart TV in a home I visit with no wifi. I've noticed that for the last few weeks, the hotspot just turns itself off every 12 minutes, like clockwork. I can't find any reason for this, nor an option to stop it. The only thing that works is to plug it into a charger and leave it plugged in, then it doesn't disconnect. But then I can't walk around using my phone, as I prefer to. How can I stop this from happening? Thanks! 😊

So it turns out it was a setting under the Hotspot advanced settings, under Timeout! So if anyone else has this issue, check that out! 😊

Have you attempted to reach out to your current service provider recently? The hotspot feature is a carrier-specific feature.
