Does the metal tip really damage the sensor? People who have used it for a long time What difference have they noticed? if used with paper type, which is both spent and When did you know you had to change it? (I mean the paper like)

Yes, many aftermarket S Pen replacement nibs are metal, and using them can potentially damage the S Pen's pressure sensor over time, leading to a permanent increase in the force needed to write. The metal tip can also damage the screen, especially if you use a textured screen protector or if the screen gets dirty.

I've never known any handheld device's first-party stylus (Palm, Note, Ultra) to have a metal tip.
