Cannot update my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra

EVERYTIME I try to check my phone for a update , or update my phone , I get a connecting to server , registration failed message. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra . Who is the server for Samsung ????

Who is your carrier? Software updates come from your carrier not Samsung.

I just checked Verizon, they released the last and final security patch on 8/14.

whats the last update you have.  I believe July Security update was the last update the Note 20 will receive since it only got 5 years of updates

I don't know how to find that out. I'm new to the Note 20 Ultra smartphon only had it for 3 months. Maybe 4. And I'm still learning about it.

@LJ20 Just for your information, the Note 20 Ultra is a 5 year old phone. The last update was Android 13, One UI 5 which was a few years ago.

But it was still getting Quarterly Security Updates which I believe ended in the Month of July

Yes, last security patch just rolled out last week. Verizon was on Friday.

Samsung doesn't send updates to your device, your carrier does.

When you go settings, about phone, software on the bottom it will show what security patch you currently have. There were actually 2 updates recently according to Verizon's website, one was released on 7/23 and another on 8/14. They will both be on July the security patch. This will be the final security patch it will receive.
