It's crude, very manual and would probably require several attempts to get right but still... Assuming fairly recent Android, on your device use Adapt Sound from Settings->Sounds and vibration->Sound quality and effects. With your Buds2 Pro connected to the device create a custom sound profile for them but lie in the audio test. For the mid-low and low frequencies say Yes you can hear them, for all others answer No you can't hear them (including the ones you really can't hear). Basically answer yes only for the low and low-mid frequencies and no for everything else. Presumably for most people this will boost all frequencies, except for the low/mid range which will be attenuated. Personally, I gave up on all my Samsung Speakers/Buds and bought a bluetooth headset with a true neutral frequency response more like studio cans and I hear much more in music than before. This message may be blocked for talking about a non Samsung product. FWIW, I just tried the Adapt sound approach I suggested above on my own Bud2 Pro. They are still boomy but mid-range instruments and vocals are much clearer. Guitars, lead and rythm are very distinct from each other, violin accompaniment sometimes gets a bit lost at the bow up/down transition, picked guitar, accordian and vocal distinct together, guitar with wind like sax and vocal together I can hear each, higher pitched percussion like maracas/tambourine/stick strikes on drum rims and similar even voices are much clearer. Slow strummed and picked guitar, I can often hear each string. Piano and voice together are particularly distinct. If the mix gives a good sound stage I can distinctly listen to a guitar, piano, lead and backing vocal. Harmonica and acoustic guitar each stand out but neither overpowers. Multiple vocalists, like backing don't get lost I can listen to lead or backing independently. Joint, male female lead are about the same loudness if mixed that way. Even 78rpm Shellac re-recordings like "This Land Is Your Land" by Woody Allen are much clearer, if you try this you should experiment by turning it off for a few lines then back on. The difference between it on/off for the Woody Allen shellac 78rpm re-recording is like stepping into mud (default) and out of mud (Adapt Sound appllied) which says to me the Buds2 Pro are a very good audio device that suits me very well if the spectrum is neutralized). It's not as good as my new closed back, enclosed ear cans that I bought for their neutral spectrum but it's a heck of a lot of better than the default Buds2 Pro were for me. Might work for you if you find them boomy. Good luck.

To be honest there's probably not much difference between manually creating a custom Adapt Sound profile to make Buds2 Pro more neutral and just selecting the built-in "over 60 years old" profile. Plus I'm assuming you want to reduce the bass. If you want to enhance it make a new profile and reverse my lie to it model, lie by saying No you can't hear the bass sounds but Yes you csn hear everything else. I've been listening for a couple of hours to music using this more neutral profile for my Buds2 Pro and really enjoying them. Think I can have custom EQ on my Buds3 Pro but now I'll have to check but still sticking to my truly neutral new bluetooth over-ear, closed back cans.

Further to that test with my Buds2 Pro on myS25U. On my new neutral balanced bluetooth cans the adapt sound profiles for both those and the one I made to neutralize the spectrum on my Buds2 Pro look similar to each other (low and low-mid cut, high boost) and about the same as the default "Over 60 years old" profile. I'm age 58 so that's hardly surprising.

No need to "lie" to the adapt sound questionnaire.  You don't even have to use adapt sound.  But if you choose to use adapt sound, you would just set up your custom profile. It's been a while since I set up mine, by I think it has options for low and high range preferences. You can just tap on the equalizer in the sound settings and choose one of the pre-sets, such as "bass boost", or a custom equalizer and set your own sound profile.  Settings/sounds and vibrations/sound quality and effects/equalizer.  I believe the equalizer settings apply both to ear gear and the phone speakers and, likely, external BT speakers while the sound profiles only apply to ear gear.

I want the full custom eq, the wear app has its own its own eq that doesnt allow custom tuning. Just presets. And i shouldnt have to use adapt sound to achieve that.

So, did you not know this when you bought the buds? Because I can adjust the EQ with my cheap, non-special buds. I don't imagine a setting like that would be mentioned in any specs, but if it was me and a feature like that was important, I'd likely search for the answer to that or come here and ask.

I would think, though, adapt sound aside, the phone's EQ settings would work outside of the buds app. Also, the music player I use (not Samsung) has it's own equalizer which can be customized. I imagine it will also work with the buds. Incidentally, there is no reason to not use adapt sound. It's a tool, as are many things that do tasks the native apps don't do. Not everyone wants full on bass, or wants to fuss with an equalizer, and I do like the fact that the sound adjusts for my preferred, or dominant, ear. I would even venture to say that full-on audiophiles are buying something better than Galaxy buds.

Yeah ever since the galaxy wear app obtained the settings styled eq. The app doesnt allow custom tuning and overides the settings. The settings eq has no effect on my buds which are connected on falaxy wear. I can imagine the only way to bypass it is by deleting galaxy wear and simply using buds through bluetooth only. But thats just stupid and i wish it was still the same as one ui 6 where my settings eq could stack the effcts onto my buds

No custom EQ I can find where I can hand set the Adapt Sound levels on my S25U, perhaps there is on the S24. Only 3 pre-defined profiles, listener "Under 30 years old"; "30 to 60 years old"; and "Over 60 years old".
