So I have had my galaxy buds 3 since December 2024 and when I use them and try to play audio, my left ear bud, the audio does not sound loud at all even at full volume, so I look at the black piece with holes in it and it's full of earwax. I check my right one and it's not and plays audio very loud like it should. Is there any way to get this ear wax out?

I guess you could brush it out with isopropyl alcohol. Just don't saturate it, of course.

Is it just the removable rubber tip that's clogged? If so, remove the rubber tip and put it in a cup of warm water and dish soap. Let it sit for awhile. Use a q-tip to get any remaining earwax out of it. Let it dry thoroughly before putting it back on the bud.

Hello LandonJ, Welcome to the Community. We understand the concern with the volume being lower in one earbud.

It is necessary to clean the earbuds. Here is a link with steps to clean them: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10001320/

Please note: DO NOT use liquids like alcohol or soapy water when cleaning them to prevent debris or liquids from falling inside them.

If you need to remove the eartip, you can use the information in this thread: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-Buds/How-to-remove-tips-on-Buds-3pro/m-p/2955193#M33132

Here are some troubleshooting articles if the volume is still low after cleaning them:

This did not help, but I was considering recently to upgrade from the buds 3 to the buds 3 pro model as it has more features that are useful to me.

Thanks for following up. All troubleshooting would still apply, except for the link to remove the eartips.

If troubleshooting is not helpful, we recommend submitting feedback through the Members app, under the Support Tab. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692

Service would also be recommended for the earbuds to correct the volume concerns. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S.: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by calling customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

For service outside the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html.
