I just bought Galaxy Buds 3 to use with Interpreter on my S25 Ultra, but I wonder what I'm doing wrong.

In Conversation Mode, I have to hit the foreign speaker microphone icon to start listening.  Translation doesn't start until the speaking stops.  It seems to take a while.  I then have to hit the play icon below the translated text to hear the spoken translation.  Then I have to hit the lower microphone or earbud icon to speak.  My speech is immediately translated & spoken through the phone, but I have to hit the top microphone icon before the foreign person starts speaking again.

My friend's Apple Airbuds allow for the conversation to flow freely without stopping to press play and listen buttons.

Can Samsung's Interpreter function as fluidly?  Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you for reaching out, Members_SDhy8aa. I can certainly understand the confusion with your Interpreter in Conversation Mode not functioning fluidly. After testing on my device, I have few questions to make sure we can resolve your symptoms:

1. Are you entering interpreter mode by pulling down from the top and selecting interpreter from the quick settings?

2. Are you using conversation mode when using the interpreter function?

3. When you click the 3 lines in the top right corner, click on the gear in the top let corner of the features that just popped up, do you have the tap to talk feature turned on? When tap to talk is turned off, you should only have to press the microphone once at the beginning of the conversation to be able to speak back and forth. Hi Adam,

Today the Interpreter is working better.  I can now tap the buds icon once to start talking, and it will allow 1 translation (into Japanese), and allow 1 reply to me, before "going to sleep".  After that, I have to tap the buds icon again to resume.  Not perfect, but I can live with this.
