Since the release of the Buds 3 Pro, I have consistently submitted feedback, approximately weekly, advocating for a modification to the hotword used to trigger the "next song" function, considering the challenges faced by users of public transportation.

Specifically, the current hotword frequently misinterprets public announcements, such as "next stop," as a command to advance to the next track, which disrupts the user's listening experience and, in the case of platforms like YouTube, can inadvertently skip to the subsequent video.

The necessity to disable voice commands while utilizing public transportation is a recurring inconvenience. I am interested in understanding the feasibility of implementing this requested change.

Really? The buds actually understand NYC subway announcements? That's quite an achievement, seeing as how normal mortals can't.  But, then again, it does mistake "stop" for "song" - maybe it's only picking up "next".

That is what it is picking up.
This mostly happens on NYC buses, every 3 blocks the PA says next stop. Boom, next song or video gets activated.

I have asked for it to be changed to "SKIP" song!

Buses make next stop announcements now? It's been many years since I rode an MTA bus in NYC - I lived in Queens boonies and we  only had Green Bus, not MTA.  In Manhattan I either took the Subway or walked.

Every 3 blocks. When you are on a bus for 40 minutes like I am every night that makes 28 stops, 28 song changes.

I have to turn off voice commands every time I get on a bus.
