Galaxy BudsIt doesn't hand-off to the phone speaker and resume playing because automatically playing audio out loud when you were playing it privately moments is a bad idea, because most people use bluetooth headsets in situations where playing music out loud may be inappropriate or inconvenient.
To switch audio sources, press the volume button and then tap the three dots that are on top of the volume bar. This will expand the volume panel. Tap the bluetooth icon that appears on the bottom left corner of the volume panel. This is cause audio to play from the phone, and will also be visually represented by the bluetooth icon you just pressed changing to represent a phone.
