Just purchased these..should be in today. I am 75 with some hearing loss. I was wondering if anyone has experience with the 3 Pro earbuds and opinion (since these are not FDA approved as a hearing aid versus the Airpod 2 which are FDA approved. I am using these with Samsung S24.

Thanks,

BobM

Great question, unfortunately I don't have an answer, but what I know is that you can increase mic sensitivity in buds wearable app, accessibility settings.

I don't see why you can't use them that way, using the phone's accessibility settings to amplify ambient sound.  Since the FDA approved OTC hearing devices some years ago, there is no reason to require FDA approval to use earbuds as hearing enhancers.  I don't see any reason not to if you only have a mild hearing deficit.  The amplify ambient sound setting will work with any Bluetooth ear gear.  Settings/accessibility/hearing enhancements/amplify ambient sound.  Turn on the slider to add the shortcut and select how you want the shortcut to activate. Or you can create a mode in modes and routines to activate the feature.  You can add a single mode widget to your home screen to activate it at will.
