So my earbuds worked fine up until a week ago or so where for whatever reason I can't swap it between my devices without having to put my earbuds back in the case and putting the case in pairing mode. I have two phones, a OnePlus 8 and my Samsung A54, as well as my Galaxy Tab9 Ultra and Book4 that I also connect my earbuds to. It used to connect to all of them whenever I needed them to by just hitting the connect button in the earbuds app, but now I just get a "can't connect" message and I have to keep putting them back in the case to use pairing mode each and every single time, which is getting very irritating. I checked and there doesn't seem to be any new updates for my earbuds or the apps, and I just can't figure out why this started happening. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have no problem connecting to my Tab S10+, S25U or Pixel 9proXl.

You can try resetting them and try pairing again. Do you have the wear app on your One+?

I reset the app on my laptop and that did nothing, so I don't imagine it'll do anything different on my other devices. My OnePlus does have the app, and still has this issue as well.

Have you tried resetting and deleting the app on all devices and download the apps again.

Sorry about the late response, I did reinstall the laptop application for the buds, but it still has the same issue, so I don't expect it to be any different with my other devices. There was an occurrence sometime last week where I was more easily able to connect my earbuds from my phone to my laptop without having to put my earbuds back in the case and use pairing mode, but it only worked that one time and is back to giving me problems.

Did you ever find a solution to this? Mine started suddenly doing this as well. Used to switch no problem between my Nvidia Shield, laptop, Samsung phone just by selecting the device.

Now I have to use the pairing button each time to connect it to a different device that it's already connected to in the past.

Nothing. If anything my earbuds act up even more than before, and I went and had my earbuds sent back on an RMA. Samsung sent me new buds and a new cradle and it worked fine for a week or two and then the same problems came up. These "new" earbuds are also problematic, since I have to make absolutely sure they're actually charging when I put them in the cradle, otherwise I run like a 40% chance they're not actually charging in there. Sorry I don't have better news.

The switching between different devices isn't as good because it's annoying when I'm using my laptop with my earbuds. When my phone rings, the sound on my laptop pauses, and I answer the call on my phone. But when I want to switch back to my laptop, it doesn't automatically reconnect, which is really annoying. I always have to manually reconnect the laptop to the earbuds. Why can't it just reconnect automatically? Can I get some assistance or opinions on this?

For context, I use a Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro, an S24, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, a Galaxy tablet, and a watch, and even my TV. I can understand it for the TV to some extent, but for the laptop, phone, tablet, and watch, it should be smoother and more integrated.

Thank you

I was just wondering, why does it say disconnected on my galaxy buds on my phone when im using it on my laptop or my tablet? Like I feel it should not be saying disconnected if they're all on the same account. I feel like one thing they can do is just like show me which device is currently using the earbuds, other then making it switch seamlessly too but having them able to tell which device and see which device is using them instead of just saying disconnected would just make it better and more attractive, and maybe even switch the device using it from any of the devices. Just my thought, what do you guys think?
