There was a similar "problem" with the s pens on S24 Ultras having a weird plastic burn smell, too. Not sure whatever came of that, I really haven't heard much about it for a while, and I have the S24+ so I didn't pay much mind to it. There was nothing wrong with the pens. Just the odd smell. Who knows...maybe Samsung is just using smelly plastics lol. But, hopefully that is all that's to it and your buds really don't have some problems.

Are you sure it's not your ears causing your buds to smell? Like stick your finger in one of your ears, now smell it, then taste it, try the other ear now. Is the smell gone now?

It's definitely the buds. Just got mine today and they smell and make my ears smell like burnt hair. Just about everybody is saying this I'm reading on reddit.

Hello all, Welcome to the Community, and thank you for reaching out. The smell could be coming from the materials used in the earbuds warning internally when connected via Bluetooth or when charging.

If the smell is concerning, you can have the earbuds evaluated by an authorized service technician. If the earbuds become hot to the touch, we encourage you to have the earbuds serviced as soon as possible.
