Hello! Last week I bought the new Z Flip after having an iphone for 15 years. I'm regretting not doing it sooner because I'm absolutely in love with this phone.
The past couple of days my phone has been pulling up the flex mode button, thinking it's half closed, when it's not. I went ahead and turned off flex mode, but when I am trying to edit a picture, it still switches it to half screen. Then it goes back and forth between thinking it's open and closed, over and over again. I hard reset my phone and it wasn't fixed. Could anyone help me? Thank you!
Oh, and I havent even dropped the phone on my soft bed lol nothing has physically damaged it
Welcome! Sounds like a bug. You can submit an error report using the Support tab in this app. Samsung uses this feedback to identify and fix issues as they arise.
Haven't owned a Flip since the 5, but I seem to remember there was an option within flex mode settings to not open automatically, but only when the indicator is tapped. Maybe in the flex mode settings, while flex mode is open, or perhaps somewhere in Settings > Advanced Settings > Labs.
Sorry I can't check the settings myself, I don't currently own a flip. If you can locate such a setting, it might help prevent the headache until the error is addressed!
Thank you so much! Yes, I have the entire flex mode setting switched off, but it still automatically switches when I'm looking at photos. It's strange. I will definitely submit an error report, thank you for the advice!
